Refund and Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. This policy outlines how refunds and cancellations work at 47 Wigston so you know exactly what to expect before you book.
Restaurant Reservations
- A £10 per table deposit may be required to confirm your booking. This is deducted from your bill when you dine with us.
- Cancel or change your reservation at least 24 hours before your booking time and we will refund the deposit in full to the original payment method.
- If you cancel within 24 hours, reduce your guest numbers significantly, or do not attend, we may retain the deposit to cover preparation costs and potential lost seating.
Private Events & Group Bookings
- Event deposits and staged payments are agreed individually and confirmed in writing. Refund timelines will be included in your event proposal.
- Should you need to postpone, we will do our best to move the booking to a mutually convenient date. If we cannot reschedule, standard cancellation terms will apply.
- Final balances are typically due seven days prior to your event. We may retain part or all of the balance if cancellation occurs after this point, depending on costs already incurred.
Online Orders and Vouchers
- Digital gift vouchers are non-refundable once issued but can be transferred to another person with your permission.
- Merchandise or takeaway sales are covered by UK consumer rights. Please contact us within 14 days if something is not quite right.
How Refunds Are Processed
- Refunds are returned using the same payment method that was used for the original transaction. We partner with Stripe and Lightspeed for secure processing.
- Once approved, refunds may take 5-7 working days to appear in your account depending on your card provider.
